The Role of Sustainable Restaurant Practices in City Branding: The Case of Athens

The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the role that restaurant practices play on tourists’ choices specifically city branding. It examines whether sustainability are considered by customers be part what they perceive as overall quality, leading customer satisfaction, loyalty, repeat business. become experience perceived if could work another key predictor dining satisfaction effecting their decisions revisit a destination. Several studies focused from owner’s perspective, but there no investigating viewpoint international tourists consumers common restaurants, influence green visiting major European capital during COVID-19 pandemic. Our research was conducted using sample 204 after completing meals at local restaurants in Athens. This offers insights sustainable it relates potential re-visit destination; however, still shows path worth investigating. Restaurateurs, tourism experts (DMO), government should monitor influences global while taking sensitivity issues into account when shaping branding strategy era.
